The FBM KLCI (+0.31%) ended higher as investors regained confidence after the Fed maintained interest rate levels and BNM kept the interest rate unchanged at 3.00%. Market breadth was positive with gainers led losers by 575-to-300 stocks. On the broader market, the Utilities Sector (+2.97%) ended strongly for the 2nd consecutive day, led by buying support in YTLPOWR (+11.0 sen), YTL (+6.0 sen) following the acquisition of Ranhill's shares. Furthermore, the Energy sector ended higher by 1.53% due to buying interest within DIALOG (+2.0 sen) and ARMADA (+1.5 sen).
