The FBM KLCI (-0.37%) ended lower as investors are trading cautiously ahead of the US jobless claims data due on Thursday, coupled with the Fed suggesting that the interest rates cuts are unlikely in the near term. Market breadth was negative with losers leading gainers by 470-to-439 stocks. On the broader market, the Utilities sector (+1.45%) ended higher thanks to buying support in YTLPOWR (+5.0 sen) and YTL (+3.0 sen). Meanwhile, the Property sector fell 0.76% following the selling pressure in IOIPG (-5.0 sen) and UEMS (-3.0 sen).
