The FBM KLCI (+1.04%) ended higher in line with regional markets as investors gained confidence due to the overnight Wall Street rally after the CPI data came out lower-than-expectations which fueled expectations of the end of interest rate hikes. Market breadth was positive with gainers led losers by 595-to-359 stocks. On the broader market, the Healthcare sector (+1.64%) ended higher thanks to buying support in IHH (+7.0 sen) and HARTA (+7.0 sen). Meanwhile, the REIT sector was the only loser at 0.25% following the selling pressure in KLCC (-5.0 sen) and IGBREIT (-1.0 sen).
