Market breadth was negative as losers nearly doubled gainers by 603-to-322 stocks. On the broader market, the Financial Services sector (+0.14%) closed higher thanks to buying support in HLBANK (+12.0 sen) and PBBANK (+1.0 sen). Meanwhile, the Energy sector ended lower, declined -1.73% following the selling pressure in DIALOG (-5.0 sen) and DAYANG (-12.0 sen).
