The FBM KLCI (-0.25%) closed lower for another session amid the mixed performance in the regional markets, as investors traded on a muted tone after a long Christmas break with profit taking activities noticed within the banking sector. Market breadth was negative as losers outpaced gainers by 426-to-397 stocks. On the broader market, the Healthcare sector (+0.99%) was the leading sector, thanks to buying support in glove counters namely, HARTA (+10.0 sen) and KOSSAN (+5.0 sen). Meanwhile, the Plantation sector declined by 0.54% following selling pressure in SIMEPLT (-2.0 sen) and GENP (-9.0 sen).
