The FBM KLCI (-0.18%) ended lower, in line with the negative regional markets, as the index was dragged by the poor performance of industrial products and transportation heavyweights. Market breadth was negative as losers more than tripled gainers by 832-to-265 stocks. On the broader market, the Utilities sector (+1.03%) was the top gainer supported by buying pressure in YTL (+3.0 sen) & YTLPOWR (+13.0 sen), while the Industrial Products & Services sector (-1.78%) fell due to selling pressure in PMETAL (-15.0 sen) & PCHEM (-12.0 sen).
