Market breadth was positive as gainers were ahead of losers by 523-to-465 stocks. On the broader market, the Construction sector (+0.93%) was the leading sector led by buying interest in IJM (+8.0 sen) and GAMUDA (+6.0 sen), while the Energy sector (-0.99%) declined due to selling pressure in YINSON (-5.0 sen) and VELESTO (-1.0 sen).
