The FBM KLCI (-0.59%) ended lower, despite the positive performance of the regional markets, as the index was dragged by selected Banking heavyweights, namely CIMB (-13.0 sen), MAYBANK (-8.0 sen) and PBBANK (-4.0 sen). Also, the market could be trading cautiously ahead of the FOMC meeting. Market breadth was neutral as gainers to losers ratio stood at 1-to-1. On the broader market, the Healthcare sector (+1.71%) was the leading sector led by buying interest in TOPGLOV (+6.5 sen) and HARTA (+14.0 sen), while the Financial Services sector (-0.91%) declined due to selling pressure in CIMB (-13.0 sen).
