The FBM KLCI (+0.44%) ended higher as buying interest was seen in utilities heavyweights, as the AI optimism was fueled further after NVIDIA's earnings beat expectations, which may suggest potentially higher power consumption amid the growing data centres investments. Meanwhile, market breadth was positive as gainers outnumbered losers at 732-to-521 stocks. On the broader market, the Transportation & Logistics sector (+1.06%) was the leading sector on the back of buying support in MISC (+14.0 sen) and WPRTS (+4.0 sen). Meanwhile, the Healthcare sector (-0.29%) was the sole decliner due to selling pressure in HARTA (-11.0 sen).
