The Edge: The 11 stocks experts say you should own in 2021

The world went into real uncharted territories in 2020, starting with a pandemic no one had foreseen, and one the world had not experienced in decades. And while the subsequent slump in the equity markets was expected, the wild surge upwards as bulls dominated — including in Bursa Malaysia — was rather not, especially with the yet-to-dissipate shadows cast by the coronavirus.

Moving forward, the availability of vaccines raises optimism of a better year ahead.

Calvin comments on the above:

1) Edgedaily in spite of its knowledge & reporting in many fields failed to perform

2) Edgedaily is reactive rather than pro-active.

Recommending Gloves like Harta at Rm12.20 is a fatal error. Subsequently Harta crashed by more than half due to ASP turning from premium to sellling at discount due to fierce price war from China

3) With MCO lock down and no mega project Gamuda underperformed

4) Tenaga also down as Many Shopping Malls were closed and electricity consumption reduced

5) The only saving grace is IHH profit up due to covid 19
