Tuan Haji Fadzil bin Haji Abdullah ("Tuan Haji Fadzil") started his career as educationalist in various academics such as Trainee Lecturer at Padington College London, Pioneer Lecturer at developing Kuantan Polytechnic, Assistant Director Technical and Vocational Education of Ministry of Education Malaysia ("MOE") with special projects and short courses, involving in Regional Cooperation Project ASEAN Austaralia Education Projects. He was the first Head of Department (HOD) of Mechanical Engineering Department Kota Bharu Polytechnic from 1986-1987. He then held the position as Senior Assistant Director in Vocational Curriculum Development, involved in establishing Trade Standard with National Training and Certification Craft Board (LLPPKK) and subsequently transformed as National Vocational Training Council (MLVK), now known as Department of Skills Development (DSD). During 1989 to 1993, he was the Principal Assistant Director Planning and Development Technical and Vocational Education of MOE. During 1996 to 2002, Tuan Haji Fadzil acted as Director of INDKOM Group of Companies. At the same time, he also acted as Managing Director of Gulf Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. Tuan Haji Fadzil was a council member of Seberang Perai City Council for the period from 2017 to 2018. He sat in the Board of Usaha Tarbiah Sdn. Bhd. (UTSB) and Governors of Islamic College of Technology International Penang (KITAB) from 2019 to 2020. Currently, he is a Trustee of International Centre for Educational Excellence, the Chairman of National Organisation of Farmers (NAFAS) Sungai Acheh Division.
