Ms. Pang Ling holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Economics and also a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Her career began when she served KPMG Management Consulting Sdn. Bhd. for six (6) years between 1990 and 1996 as a Managing Consultant in the Corporate Finance Advisory Services Department. During her tenure of service, she has gained a vast experience in corporate advisory work which includes public listing, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions. 

Subsequently, she was involved in the construction and property development scene in the role of strategic corporate planning, and in 1998 appointed as the Executive Director of Merge Energy Berhad (now known as Varia Berhad). 

She then joined Merge Housing Berhad in 2003 heading the corporate planning & development, investment evaluation and legal liaison until 2022.  

Ms. Pang Ling is currently involved in a few private businesses in the field of bereavement, oil palm and engineering.
