Mohd Hedzir Bin Hanafi ("MHH") is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in project finance, advisory, and capital markets, specializing in water, power, infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, among others. Prior to joining Ranhill Utilities Berhad ("Ranhill"), he served as the Team Head and Senior Vice President in the Capital and Project Advisory, Debt Markets at AmInvestment Bank Berhad ("AmIB").

MHH's expertise in energy sector includes structuring and financing large-scale projects such as independent power plant, waste-to-energy, solar power and hydropower projects, all of which align with Ranhill's goals in energy space. 

In the water sector, MHH has provided strategic advisory on investment structures and sustainable funding models for water infrastructure projects, improving their financial feasibility and addressing challenges in the sector. 

MHH deep understanding of the regulatory and commercial landscapes, along with his experience in public-private partnerships, positions him to drive large-scale infrastructure projects for Ranhill.

In summary, MHH's expertise in project finance, advisory, and leadership across energy, water, and infrastructure sectors makes him an ideal candidate to lead Ranhill. His ability to structure complex projects, manage stakeholder dynamics, and drive sustainable growth aligns with Ranhill's mission and goals.

MHH was also an Independent Non-Executive Director at Pengurusan Air Aset Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Finance from 2020 to 2022. He served as Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee and contributed to the Project Delivery and Integrity & Compliance Committees.

Before joining AmIB, MHH held key roles at CIMB Investment Bank Berhad (Regional Project Finance Advisory Unit), Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (Infrastructure Finance), and RHB Bank Berhad.
