He has been in the IT industry for the last 24 years. He began his career as a marketing representative at IBM Malaysia before joining Logica Plc in 1988. Subsequently, he was attached to Oracle System and Data General before serving Banyan Systems, Asia Region as Managing Director. He was appointed as Managing Director of Aironet Wireless Communication Inc. in 1999. Subsequently, after the acquisition of Aironet by Cisco System Inc., in 2000, he was appointed as the Managing Director of Cisco System (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. Currently, he sits on the board of several private limited companies. He is currently Chairman of Frontline Group of Companies and an Advisor to Persatuan Industri Komputer dan Multimedia Malaysia (PIKOM).
