Mr. Koh co-founded Jestell Sdn Bhd ("Jestell"), a software solutions provider specialising in ERP software in 1997. In 2001, he founded Global Soft (MSC) Sdn Bhd ("Global Soft") which took over the business operations, assets, and liabilities of Jestell. In 2003, Global Soft was successfully listed on the MESDAQ Market of Bursa Securities Malaysia Berhad and he was appointed as managing director, a position he held until 2004. As managing director, he was responsible for mapping strategic plans of the company and overseeing the company's sales and marketing activities. After 2004, he has been investing and managing a portfolio of real estate properties.
In 2018, he was appointed as a Director of iTech Worldwide Sdn Bhd, a company primarily providing IT consultancy services which include project management, custom software development, system integration, software reengineering and network engineering.
On 27 December 2019, he was appointed to the Board of Onetech Solutions Holdings Berhad to provide business inputs. Upon conversion to Public Listed Company, he was appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director in 2020. On 30 September 2022, he was re-designated as Executive Director to oversee the operational functions in the Company's day to day activities, a position which he held and ceased office during the annual general meeting held on 27 June 2023.
