Tengku Dato' Paduka Noor Zakiah Binti Tengku Ismail ("Tengku Dato' Paduka Noor Zakiah") completed five (5) years attachment with a stockbroking firm from 1964 to 1973 to qualify as a stockbroker awarded by Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, Malaysia.

Tengku Dato' Paduka Noor Zakiah co-founded K & N Kenanga Sdn Bhd (Stockbrokers) (now known as KIBB) in 1973 and served as the Executive Chairman of KIBB until January 2007.
She also served as the Executive Chairman of K & N Kenanga Holdings Berhad ("KNKH") ever since she was appointed to the Board of KNKH. In January 2010, she was re-designated as the Non-Executive Chairman of KNKH and assumed the position until 2 November 2016, upon transfer of KNKH's listing status to KIBB. Prior to this, she was a partner in a stockbroking firm, Hallam & Co., from 1964 to 1971.
She was the first (1st) lady member of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, now known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 1964 and has over forty-seven (47) years of experience in the securities industry. She was one (1) of the founders of the Association of Stockbroking Companies Malaysia ("Association") and was appointed as President of the Association, a post she held until 1994 when she became its Chairman. She was made a Life Advisor to the Association when she retired as Chairman in 1997.
