Working Experience
Mr Chia Song Kooi began his career as a Product and Market Development Executive for agro-chemical products with Ancom Berhad, a company listed on the Main Market of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and eventually headed the Product and Market Development Division in 1987.
Mr Chia joined QL Feedingstuffs Sdn. Bhd. as an Executive Director on 21 September 1988. He has more than 20 years of experience in farm management and in trading of raw materials for farm use, as well as more than 10 years of experience in marine products processing. He was the Deputy Chairman of Sabah Livestock Poultry Association from 2012 to 2016. In view of the restructuring of the QL Group, he has resigned as a Director of QL Feedingstuffs Sdn. Bhd. and has been re-appointed in year 2017. Prior to being the Group Managing Director, he was overall in charge of the groups operations in Kota Kinabalu since 1990 to 2016.
