He began his working career as an apprentice in Seng Heng Furniture in 1981. Later he joined Hong Kong Teak, a company principally involving in furniture manufacturing as a supervisor in the Research and Development Division and established Hup Heng Furniture in 1989. He is also the co-founder and director of CT Haup Heng Sdn Bhd since 12 September 1992. Currently, he is responsible for the marketing strategies of LHIB Group to promote the products in local and overseas market.
