Miss Emily Sow Mei Chet graduated in March 2007 from the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Business.

Miss Emily Sow Mei Chet joined Shantawood Sdn. Bhd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of DPS Resources Berhad) as Marketing Executive in April 2007 and was subsequently promoted to Marketing Director in 2009. She is responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance customer purchasing power and satisfaction; make analytical market researches and organize the targeted direct marketing spots; designing attractive trade show booths and attending trade shows to present the company's products and services; publishing company brochures and organizing e-mail campaigns.
Miss Emily Sow is also an Executive Director of DPS Resources Berhad, a company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. She has represented DPS Resources Berhad in various local and international furniture trade exhibitions, including those held in China (Guangzhou and Shanghai), Europe (Cologne and Poznan), United States of America (High Point) and Asia-Pacific (Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong).

Miss Emily Sow Mei Chet is the daughter of Dato' Seri Dr. Sow Chin Chuan (Executive Chairman) and Datin Seri Chu Kim Guek (Non-Independent & Non-Executive Director) both of whom are also the substantial shareholders of the Company. She is also the sister of
Mr. Edward Sow Yuen Seng (Executive Director).

Indirect interest via her father, Dato' Seri Dr. Sow Chin Chuan's holding of 20,679,400 shares in Sand Nisko Capital Berhad.
