Have worked as an Internal Auditor for 2 years and later acquired extensive experience in accounting and finance for 28 years in FELDA ( Federal Land Development Authority ) in which he held the senior positions of Financial Controller and Finance Director. He retired from FELDA in 1995 as the Deputy Director-General. During the period of 2004-2005, he was a Board Director and Audit Committee Chairman of Prestar Resource Bhd, a listed company in Bursa Malaysia
