Dr. Khoo Yek San ("Dr Khoo") started her career in the banking sector since year 1988. She then pursued her higher education and graduated as a chartered accountant with MBA and DBA in the United Kingdom. She joined Seagate as an accountant before venturing into Property Development sector. She started off as a Finance Manager, thereafter as the Financial Controller, Group General Manager, Group Chief Operating Officer and subsequently took on the role as Group Managing Director.
Dr. Khoo was the pioneer key person involved in Plenitude Holdings Sdn Bhd business expansion starting from the acquisition of land. Under her lead the Company eventually was listed in the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia in year 2003.
She has vast active experience in Strategic Management covering assets acquisition, property management, quality control and assurance, financial planning and risk management. She is also actively involved in various town planning projects which is not only limited to Malaysia but also in Asia such as the proposed Laos Vientiane Economic Zone. Besides the above, Dr. Khoo was the Managing Director for Salient Reality Sdn Bhd, one of the Consultant involved in the master planning of Iskandar Malaysia and assisted Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd in the roadmap towards its proposed public listing in Bursa Malaysia. Dr. Khoo was also the appointed Managing Director of Riverside Tiara Sdn Bhd (a wholly own subsidiary of Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd).
She is currently the shareholder and Managing Director of SV Group which a group of companies that comprising of Streamsville Sdn Bhd, Pembangunan Rasa Sempurna Sdn Bhd and Palmingdale Sdn Bhd. SV Group is current developing several projects in Butterworth, Penang.
