She is a Chartered Accountant registered with Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA).
She started her career as an Auditor with BDO Binder from 1992 to 1994, then joined as an Accountant of Ancom Berhad from 1994-1995, Accountant of Berjaya Cycle Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Berjaya group) from 1995-1998 and Group Financial Controller of CITC group from 1999-2017.
When she was attached to BDO Binder, she gained audit experience in auditing of clients of different type of industries ranging from manufacturing, trading, and securities. She then switched her career path to commercial industries by joining the manufacturing company Ancom Berhad then Berjaya Cycles Sdn Bhd and CITC Group where her job responsibilities were mainly in the areas of accounting, finance, taxation planning, internal control, corporate governance, corporate management, purchasing, warehousing, human resource and administration.She joined CITC group as Group Accountants and was promoted to Group Financial Controller and sits on the Board of CITC group of companies in Malaysia and Thailand.Currently she works as financial consultant.
