Tan Sri Md Nor Md Yusof was appointed as Director of Khazanah Nasional Berhad on 1 April 2006 and currently serves as the Chairman of its Executive Committee. He also sits on the Boards of several companies and institutions including Malaysian Agrifood Corporation Bhd, Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad and is also a Trustee of Yayasan Khazanah. Tan Sri Md Nor was appointed to the Board of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad as Director on 27 June 2006 and assumed the post of Chairman on 31 July 2006. He is also Chairman of CIMB Group Sdn. Bhd. Tan Sri Md Nor has spent 18 years of his working career with the CIMB Group, and more notably as President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Commerce (M) Berhad (now known as CIMB Bank Berhad). Tan Sri Md Nor completed his term as Executive Chairman of the Securities Commission on 31 March 2006. Prior to that appointment, he was the Managing Director of Malaysian Airline System Berhad after serving a period as Advisor to the Ministry of Finance.
