Madam Teresa Tan Siew Kuan started her career in 1992 at Deloitte Kassim Chan (now known as Deloitte PLT) as an Audit Assistant. In 1993, she joined Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers) as Semi Senior in the tax department until 1995 when she joined MIMB Investment Bank Berhad (Penang Branch) holding her final post of Assistant Vice President of Corporate Finance and Acting Branch Manager in 2004.
Madam Tan joined K&N Kenanga Berhad (now known as Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad) in 2004 as Senior Manager of the Corporate Finance where she was mainly involved in providing corporate advisory services to corporate/institutional clients and public listed companies. She left K&N Kenanga Berhad in 2007 and took a 1-year career break before joining KDU College Penang in 2008 as a lecturer and was mainly lecturing in accounting and auditing subjects of the Australian tertiary twinning programmes. In 2010, she rejoined K&N Kenanga Berhad (now known as Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad) as Senior Manager for Investment Banking Division where she was responsible in marketing the group's products and services. In 2014, she was transferred to Kenanga Investors Berhad (subsidiary of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad) as Branch Manager and Business Development Manager, responsible for marketing and distribution of products and services to the retail market segment and the financial operational and administrative matters of the Penang branch.
In 2017, she left Kenanga Investors Berhad and joined TT Vision Holdings Berhad as Chief Financial Officer where she was responsible for the overall finance and accounts of the group and handling the listing exercise of TT Vision Holdings Berhad on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad until September 2019. Currently Madam Tan is a free-lance adviser providing business, management & finance related consultancy.
