Mr Andreas Vogiatzakis (Andreas) was previously the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Havas Media Group, Malaysia, a position he held since August 2016 up to June 2019. Before that, since 2006, he was the CEO of Omnicom Media Group Malaysia for ten years. Born and raised in rural Crete in Greece, Andreas began his career at DMB&B in New York after graduating with High Honors from the University of Florida. After his tenure in USA, he then joined JWT in Athens, Greece before heading to Asia. In 1997, Andreas launched and ran MediaVest Japan, later merging it with Starcom, with a short stint in-between as the Wieden & Kennedy's Media Director. In 2003, Andreas moved to Taiwan as the CEO of the MindShare Group until 2006, when he made Malaysia his home.
During his career, Andreas has served on several industry boards, as President of Media Specialist Association (MSA) and Treasurer of Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), the Board of Directors of the European Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (EUMCCI), as the chairman of BFM Brandfest and as a judge in numerous award juries.
He has served at several University Industry Advisory Boards for Taylors, INTI, UTAR, PJCAD, Monash, and was an industry advisor for Asia Pacific Media Forum (APMF), Digital Summit Asia, Campaigns Media 360 and Ad:tech ASEAN.
He is an ICF Certified Professional Coach, a Certified NLP Practitioner and he was inducted in the YPO Malaysian Chapter in 2008, the International Whos Who of Professionals in 2009, and he is the recipient of the Achievers & Leaders Award in 2012 and the Global Brand Leadership Award at the World Brand Congress of 2014. In 2017 he was selected as one the 100 most influential Digital Leaders in APAC in 2017 and was appointed as an Industry Adjunct Faculty Member of INTI University & Colleges. In 2020 he was selected among the 100 most inspirational LinkedIn icons in Malaysia.
