Mr. Tam is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants - CA(M) and a Certified Public Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants - CPA(M). He holds an auditor license and a liquidator license both issued under the Companies Act 2016.
Mr. Tam has more than 35 years of accounting, auditing, finance, management and advisory experience gained from working in Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad/Arthur Andersen, Chartered Accountants, several large corporations such as MBf Finance Berhad, Damansara Realty Bhd Group of Companies and SCM Integrated Systems Sdn Bhd (a Canadian-Malaysian Joint Venture) and in the last 25 years as the founder of Bridge Advisory Group (Bridge). Bridge provides auditing, outsourcing, tax compliance, internal audit, litigation support, financial advisory and insolvency services.
In Bridge, Mr. Tam had led in various engagements servicing public listed companies, multinational companies, government backed companies, international non-government organisation and small medium industries. Noteworthy engagements included process reengineering of a large hypermarket and an international NGO, acted as expert witness in several High Court cases and successful completion of several schemes of arrangement under the Companies Act 2016.
