Malaysia go vt debt is 6 X the annual profit generated and we need about Rm50billion a year just to pay interest.., so I .. Let see how the ringgit doing ...vs Spore or Thailand or New Taiwan Dollar... So doing business elsewhere like Vietnam is not a BAD ideal....

Correction line 2 PM( Profit Margin) will improve.....line Line 3 this stock price can not be same as...line 4 ::Doing Business in Vietnam is getting better..,

The fact is the Profit Margin had increase in the last 5 years from only 1.4% to 2.8, 9,2 o.1 and last report as 18.7% despite the revenue is increased slightly but you can see the PM will import the profit and everything.. It seemed to me this stocked can not be the same as few years back as the profit had jump 3X at 18.7% ., I believe doing Vietnamese Govt is improving and more open and progressive theses days as compared to the Inredible India...

Great news GohaiDuongGo.tks .,another positive news on good progress give positive momentum..,I have worked in China and know that good Contractor really worked hard and often 24/7 and on immediate execution without wasting time argue for more VO ..continue flow of positive news is needed to overwhelm extreme pessimistic...and gradually going toward the gravy train ride ....there is BIG different from project execution in India...

as predicted ...MyHSR Corp Sdn Bhd via its press releases indicated that it has appointed the Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd – Gamuda Bhd consortium (MRCB Gamuda Consortium) and Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd – TH Properties Sdn Bhd consortium (YTL-THP) as its project delivery partners (PDP) for the Kuala Lumpur–Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) civil works portion. Although no disclosure was made on the PDP fee, we believe that it should be at around 6%, similar to the PDP fee for the earlier MRT projects. Civil works for the project is believed to be valued as high as RM40bn. We understand that the MRCB-Gamuda Consortium has been selected for the northern portion of the alignment, while YTL-THP has been selected for the southern portion and the contracts will be awarded upon the conclusion of negotiations between MyHSR Corp and the PDPs. Assuming the MRCB-Gamuda Consortium gets 50% of the total works with 6% PDP fees, we estimate that Gamuda’s PBT profit to be c.RM1.2bn. Pending more clarification, earnings estimates are kept unchanged for now. Maintain Outperform with an unchanged RM6.20 TP. Very true instead, as you can see the analysis all encourage trading ; one minute ask you to buy and next sell; then ask to hold/sell again etc., providing trading in stock and NOT investing !! most rush to sell off wit even 1-2% profit or zero profit after deducting the brokerage fee etc.,..

I guess YTL have good chance and deserved for PDP contract of the KL SG HSR project....and they are working very hard and invested lots of study on this project previously.., hope announcement made soon .., there could be 2 PDP as the Project is divided into Northern and Johor or a southern Portion....

Stock dilution is legal or not ? because, in theory, the issuance of new shares shouldn't affect actual shareholder value. The other answers have explained fairly well why this is so.
In practice, however, the issuance of new shares can destroy shareholder value. This normally happens when the issuing company:
Sells the newly issued shares at an "undervalued price."
Fails to use the proceeds from the sale in a way that enhances owners' wealth.
In these cases, the issuance of more shares merely reduces each shareholder's stake in the company without building proportional shareholder value....???
