MYR strengthening is just temporary. Currency fluctuations shud not b a primary criteria for analysis. U only adjust yr analysis for it if d fluctuations r significant. Other than tht, u just ignore its small volatility.

It always never pay trying to time d mkt and it's extremely stressful doin so. When u get frustrated of missing d boat, stress w consume u and it's not good for yr health. Being a long term investor especially in stocks like Karex, w allow u to maximize yr ROI stress-free while u enjoy d ride upwards.

Only traders w try to time d mkt, long term investors tend to take positions based on d company's future intrinsic value and long term growth prospects. Whoever tries to time d mkt generally w get their hands burnt badly. So, beware u all traders and do not take yr eyes off Karex for too long. Hehehe...

there's nothing to b angry abt as I am not affected by d current volatility at all. it's just tht I'm trying to remind all those who r so afraid by crying 'drop, drop, drop' everyday to refrain getting into d mkt at all.

The best scenario is both will move up. However, I believe for crude price to move up is rather challenging due to d Iran factor. So, USD moving up is d likely bet. A vote for Brexit will even heighten USD's appreciation.

Guys, oil revenue depends on crude price per bbl and USD exchange rate. The powerhouses can decide to move one of it only. It looks like d Fed has an upper hand to dictate d world economy at d moment.

@Tan Kah Fai, as in any situation hving staunch supporters w us to achieve a collective goal, I'm very sure he w b proud of us being Karex's shareholders. At d very least, it gives him d comfort to know tht the shareholders truly know wat they r getting themselves into and to know Karex's biz very intimately. It w definitely help him to address and communicate all biz challenges faced much more effectively to all shareholders who in turn, w give him d full latitude and trust to manage Karex for d benefit of all shareholders

Management has guided us previously tht Karex will grow at a CAGR of approx. 9% yearly for d next 3 years or so. I really dun understand why some ppl still choose to make life difficult for themselves and for others. They even hv d cheek now to say tht Karex won't be growing. Let me tell u tis firmly - Karex WILL grow and grow STRONGER than expected moving forward.

yes and agree, Karex management mentioned tender sales decreased in d QR, but did not mention WAT caused it to decrease and, WHY & HOW such decrease came abt. Unless u r telling me u work in Karex, then I MIGHT believe u.

Be prepared for stronger USD vs MYR in d weeks and months ahead...

@littlelolita, u pls go and read properly yrself first lah... Since QR @ 31 Mar 2015 until 31 Mar 2016, revenue has been increasing EXCEPT for Q1/2015 and Q3/2015. For Q1/2015, d lower revenue reported was due to delay in acceptance of finished products by customers (recognition delay in d accounts). And as for Q3/2015, d precise reason for lower tender sales was not disclosed in d QR, but I believe management is in transition to switching their product mix twds OBM products which has higher margins. Otherwise, d current year YTD revenue will not hv exceeded d previous year's YTD revenue. How can u be too overly smart to read in betw d lines wat Karex management is doin currently? Yr analysis is very dangerous. FYI, do not be confused as drop in sales is NOT THE SAME as drop in demand. They are 2 different matters altogether.

All along when they said tht Karex's share price w crash after announcement of a bad QR, I realize now it's their heads tht are actually crashing now. Why??? It's bcoz they had sold out earlier and wanting to get back in now. How phatetic and cheap can those losers be hving to resort to such scaring tactics just to make a few more bucks for themselves. So sorry for them.

@littlelolita, long term investors always hv got nothing to worry abt price fluctuations. Only short term traders and mkt speculators hv everything to worry abt as a 30% drop w cause them to vomit white foam quite instantly. In such a situation, only long term investors hv every reason to smile while keep collecting quality stocks like Karex at lower prices. Pls continue helping us long term investors to spread the words around to sell Karex. Hehehe........

So, let's wait and see how bad it will get crashed on Monday.

For the past months, I hv been reading some ppl writing so much abt "the upcoming QR will be very bad". It turns out d matter has been terribly over-exaggerated. The picture they painted was so bad as if Karex's share price will crash after d QR is released.

@Obsidian, it's mainly due to lower Other Income and higher Other Expense. I believe the FX losses are included in here. As for higher distribution and admin exp., there is very normal due to higher sales.

I totally agree w @gift. Despite the unfavourable exchange rate and latex price during last qtr, Karex's YTD numbers are still looking very good. With d 3rd qtr results already in the pocket now, I see Karex hv no problem at all to exceed the FY2015's results. To those who wanna sell, pls do so swiftly early morning on Monday. I am very happy to collect more. Hehe...

Cumulatively speaking, the EPS @ current qtr is still higher at 5.44 vis-à-vis last yr's 4.64.

There may be a blip in d NPAT if u compare the q-on-q results. However if u look at the y-on-y results, it has exceeded previous year's results. Generally, Karex's results are not so very bad as claimed by some here.

Also, I'm writing to encourage those with holding power to continue holding Karex and not to sell blindly purely based on speculation. Just wait for the QR to b announced and then, decide to buy or sell. But, u wrote so much asking d whole world to sell Karex as u had speculated a bad upcoming QR. Why bother to speculate now? Wat I remember writing all along is to ignore all d noises abt bad upcoming QR and all other craps posted in here and, had encouraged others to focus on being a medium-to-long term value investor in Karex.

@littlelolita & @tan lucy, u ppl and d rest who r screaming hard ONLY NOW abt bad QR due to strengthening of MYR and latex price r very late in doin so indeed and also, r really not thinking fast enuf. The market is definitely thinking much faster and many steps ahead than u ppl tht it w leave ppl like u biting d dust eventually. Everyone in d market already knew d MYR and latex price hv strengthened during last quarter (if I'm not mistaken, u ppl started screaming abt it since late Apr 2016???) and they w negatively impact Karex's financials. If u go look back at d stock chart, Karex's share price has been adjusting constantly in anticipation to d strengthening of MYR, latex price and bonus issuance since late Jan 2016 until now. Your concern abt strengthening of MYR and latex price affecting d upcoming QR has already been discounted by d market by now.

@littlelolita, pls help me recollect which earlier statement of mine if any, tht I suggest coming QR is good. As far as I cud remember, I did not speculate at all tht d upcoming QR w b good or bad. It is u ppl who did tht all along.
