I'm passionate abt Karex as it's a quality stock and d company is well managed by a team of highly valued individuals with strong integrity and clear vision to take d company to higher levels. Ultimately, they w try to create greater value to all shareholders. For those who r new to Karex, I hope they cud tap into tis forum to get to know Karex better quickly.

@sesatn00b, it just so happen both yr questions hv caught my eyes now. Honestly speaking, I just give my most frank viewpoint regardless of who they are, not just u both. Come on, we r all grown ups and shud b matured investors and b responsible for our own actions with d primary objective to make some money. @sesatn00b and @lala26, when u both bought Karex initially, I'm pretty sure nobody pointed a gun into your head to do so. So obviously when u wanna sell, nobody will point a bloody gun into your head and ask u to sell. Sell and by all means, sell as you both wish. But please, please stop asking by posting stupid questions here asking others when u shud sell or buy. If u wanna be speculative on Karex, kindly do it at platforms elsewhere. In this forum, all valuable information sharing and investment educational postings r only welcome. Thank u for yr kind understanding in the matter.

Hahaha... bonus ex-date is earlier than anticipated on 15 Apr 2016. Expect more action to follow soon.

Bonus issue has been approved by shareholders as expected. The ex-date is targeted around end-Apr 2016.

After tmrw's EGM to approve the bonus issue, its ex-date shud b known quite shortly. I guess tht is wat everyone is waiting for. There shud b higher trading activity on Karex running up to the ex-date. Let's hope for the best.

The EGM agenda is just to approve issuance of bonus shares. Nothing too complicated abt it. The outcome is either approved or not approved. Almost certain it w b approved as it will be extremely foolish to vote against d agenda.

We hv now moved into April whereby d soft launch of d Komtar project is imminent in d horizon. Will this be d beginning of some exciting times for OWG? Hehehe... If I were u, I will not want to make any second guess abt it anymore and w swing straight into action from now onwards. Anyway, d decision is yours as always. I'm just sending out a reminder so tht it's goodness cud be shared w as many ppl as possible, PROVIDED THAT u also believe in OWG like I do very much it is capable to deliver us d goodness in due course.

@8wpwtmt8, it's actually not true on wat u mentioned abt zero contribution from Komtar. In fact, the F&B biz on 59Sixty is already ready and operational now. Visitors can dine and enjoy lunches and dinners there already. It is just the indoor theme attractions tht r not quite ready as yet.

@martinbartesque, u w be very surprised tht there r many ppl who can still afford to go on local holidays and spend quite a substantial amount of money on f&b even during weak economic times. The fact is tht, ppl still need to eat & drink regardless of good or weak economic times. If you observe d biz of restaurants serving quality foods, I dun see any lesser number of ppl going out to eat/drink there. Anyway, it is definitely yr prerogative to wait and see b4 putting yr money in any stock. All d best...

@8wpwtmt8, be very patient as it will move up when d time is right. It is like wanting to see a flower bloom. Wat do u do? Even if u need to sacrifice yr sleep, u wud wanna stay up to wait, right? But of course, OWG is not so cruel to ask u to sacrifice yr sleep. Instead, it wants u to go get a good nite sleep tonite and wait the announcement of some good news coming our way soon.

@8wpwtmt8, d phrase 'sustainable' is used primarily by mkt punters. So, r u one? It's OK for u to declare if u r one. However If u r not, then u shud not be too bothered by any price volatility, be it rising or falling. Well, I'm obviously happy abt it. As a medium-to-long term investor, we shud be targeting for d 20th Century Fox launching in Genting.

The upcoming bonus issue exercise w b Karex's third (3rd) thus far since it went IPO in Dec 2013. And yet time and time again, ppl are bringing up d same topic of concern which has been discussed before i.e. EPS dilution, share price adjustment, etc. All you ppl shud be discussing if Karex's growth plans are intact or otherwise instead of asking those same boring questions.

@8wpwtmt8, I think EPF is trying to rebalance its OWG holdings among various portfolios. The current acquisition is thru Citigroup. Wat was it when EPF became substantial shareholder previously?

@8wpwtmt8, they didn't say which attractions w be ready in Apr but just said a few only. For those who bought d special pass at Matta Fair, they w b invited to d grand opening in Jun/Jul to get a feel of all d attractions. If u want to get some great deals, do hurry to Matta Fair to get them.

Soft opening in Apr where some attractions will be up and running. 59Sixty fine dining restaurant is already operational. The grand opening is expected in July where all attractions will be operational.

If I remember correctly when I visited Disneyland, Anaheim and Cedar Point, Ohio way back in 2003, the entry pass costs USD150/pax at each location. Also, try comparing the cost of visiting Universal Studio in S'pore. Holiday trips are times when u need to spend $$$. The cheapest holiday I can think of is to stay at home and watch TV :-)

I'm with Karex for the long haul since its early IPO days. While I did not apply for its IPO then, I just stumbled upon it by chance. On tht listing day, I had two choices - Karex and Barakah. I chose Karex and everything was history. Though I did not see any wild fluctuations in Karex until late-Jan to early-Feb tis year where Karex dived down by RM1.20, tht was the only time I sold out. I hv since accumulated back to my previous holding.

Kah Fai, FYI, I didn't sell my holding but accumulated more for d bonus allotment...

@ksyewks, come to think abt it, somehow some ppl ought to b sacrificed to suffer losses to allow others to profit. This is a cruel fact abt d marketplace which is beyond d control of u and me. Hence, may d best prices b with all every time.

Wat I can honestly say is - thank u for selling and pushing d price down for all true investors to accumulate more shares at attractive prices :-)...
