At 2013 annual report number, top 30 shareholders control about 85% of the total share, plus 2014 few directors already bought quite a sum from open market, actual share floating in the market is not that much. ha ha ha...... let see.

This counter worth to have a look

Not only MKH drop, a lot of good counters also drop a fair bit. Business outlook on 2nd half of 2014 is more challenging as expected. In general most of the company are facing with increase of Operating cost. Where interest rate is expect to increase another 0.25 latest by next month and electricity rate by end of the year.

Today closed price is Window dressing ??

Apart from the forex losses, the drop of profit margin property development & construction division could be one of the reason. There is a drop of 7% of profit margin. Anyway this is just my personal opinion, I might be wrong.

Revenue : $404.8 mils
Results : $76.56 mils
Profit margin : 18.9%


FY2013 (9 months) - property development & construction

Revenue : $309.3 mils
Results : $80.12 mils
Profit margin : 25.9%

Anyway due to depress CPO price and the Indonesia propose bill, can't expect anything from the price moving. The fundamental is still intact.

CPO price kena short kaw kaw everyday..... Plantation counters will be down trend for a while. Until there are some clear indication on this new Indonesia bill and a sign of CPO price rebound, else it will be down trend.

Ya ! I agree with Jim, the Qtr results should be very good but there will be an unrealized forex loss that will compromise the good results. Anyway I m happy for the bonus issue and positive about long term.

short term the price might be stagnant due to the depress price on CPO but if you going for long term investment this counter still have a good potential.

TSH 2Q output increased 33% (YoY), good qtr results is expected, however the expected good results might be compromised by the unrealise forex losses (IDR weaken 4-5% against USD from Q1-14 to Q2-14, however after the president election,as at today IDR is recovered 3%+ against USD).

I have been searching for solid good growth plantation company for long term investment. TSH fit in to my criteria, double digit growth in term of production for the next 5 yrs, good cost management ,prudent management and have healthy land bank for future growth. So I don't mind to park my $$ there for couple of years.

Every counter also will have some risk, even if the price drop to $2.6 as you predicted, I will buy more. If you look at the chart the share price increase average $1 per year for the last few years. I m 100% agree with you, even bear market the share price would have recovered to the level of $3.5 within 1-2 yrs.

If you look back 5 yrs ago, how much is Genting Pantation share price compare to today ? TSH has the potential to become another medium size player in plantation counter in 5-8 yrs time. I would be happy to growth with them.
