So if ytl really want to privatise ytlpower with share swap then they will have to drive up ytl price through share buy back, that is how we can make money if we start accumulating now at low. Dun forget according to latest balance sheet ytl is a cash cow of RM13bil

well, I disagree with what mentioned in the article saying that oil palm tree are the same as forest. Though oil palm trees do provide oxygen to the atmosphere but what about the land? It is known fact that oil palm tree will cause land sliding and flooding as they doesn't hold water as good as tropical rain forest. In addition, what about the animals? Do you think animals can live well in oil palm estate? It is a fact that agricultural is a major cause of deforestation. Like what Bird mentioned above, 2 wrong doesn't equal to 1 right. The Japanese killed before, does it authorize us the right to kill Japanese now?

the part of return of dividend does not hold truth, as although chuan declared 2.5 sen of dividend but don't forget it need to be taxed 25%, which result into 1.875 sen of dividend. Take 0.01875/0.5(roughly price) = 3.75%, which is more or less FD....

no, it is 7.6 sen declared, but out of this 7.6 sen there is 0.4 sen needed to be taxed 25%. So it is 7.5 sen goes into your pocket...

the company is having positive cash flow as compared to the previous quarter, net asset per share of 0.97, which include 0.54 of current asset per share, PE 5+ and dividend yield of 5+%, isn't it already undervalue in the market?

The guy email to Mahsing and ask about the bonus issue, and the company replied:

We wish to inform you that the proposed bonus issue does not form part of the approvals to be sought at Mah Sing's 21st Annual General Meeting as it had previously been approved at Mah Sing's Extraordinary General Meeting dated 5 February 2013. Rest assured that we are working towards completing the proposed bonus issue. In-line with the intentions stated in Mah Sing's Circular dated 21 January 2013, we intend to announce the entitlement date of the proposed bonus issue by end-June 2013.

No matter how good is the company, if u dun buy it low then it doesn't consider as a good investment. I always believe in this golden rule. YOCB will get back into my portfolio if it drop until certain price as it is still fundamentally a good company.

and do take note that from this year onward the minimum wages is implemented, that's why even the revenue increased but the profit remain the same. 0.65 is the reasonable price i gave for yocb and today really it drop to 0.62. only if it drops further i will buy back

I follow graham NCAV trading strategy. Once the price cross net current asset value then I will consider to sell it. Some more there are other more undervalue stock there for me to explore ^^
