I really hope they don't buy Silterra. All the experts from the foundry business ie Chartered, Infineon, Promos, Hynix etc and can't turn the business around. Best for them to remain to what they are doing with the current setup.

I would not count on Inari buying Silterra. It is an old plant with old process and measurement equipment. Government pumped in billions with no return just like 1st Silicon in Kuching.

I remember when you asked to buy Encorp-WA a couple of weeks ago when it was 69 sen but the price had already run up to 78+ sen in a few days then it went one to 88+ sen. I missed the boat and the price dropped this week, I did not hesitate at all to buy at 62 sen because I did not want to miss the chance again. Am planning to keep at least until either after the financial results are out or a few weeks expecting the price to run up just like Iris did after Felda came in. I am looking for my rolex this weekend. Value for money to spend on 150k WA rather than mother share.

If it is easy to make money in the stock market, then all of us will be million or for some billionaires. A lot of traders expect to buy and see it go up immediately. When they buy high and price goes down, it is the risk you have to take. Don't blame anyone but yourself for chasing the share. Human nature.

From what I have seen most of the counters that OTB has recommended has low downside risk compared to others. Some of the property counters Encorp-WA, L&G-LA has appreciated more than 15% from the time he made the call. Similarly, I see the same in Asiapac. Retrace a bit but will continue to march on. This distraction is mainly aimed at the hit and run traders who want to protect capital and looking for easy money. Holding is a much better method for this counters :). In times of crisis people still making money who lose sleep unless you buying blindly.
