EGM is the last approval (from shareholders) Haven't SC/BURSA approvals obtained for the revised Rights proposal and listing?? EGM agenda would include the relevant dates ie ex date etc. which will be announced by BURSA

remember you will be holding your original number of shares of 5000 at 29C

but you are compensated some what by the 9C x 6000 OR if you sell it.

which in the example sited by Noraini would be adjusted from 40 to 29C but you are compensated by the increase number of shares from 5000 to 11000 :P

you will be issued the PAL and you can trade on it if you don't intend to subscribe to the rights

but bear in mind that on ex date the share price will be adjusted (downwards because of dilution)

as long as you are still in the game even if you cut there is always hope of recovery because the market is always there and will outlast us ha ha..

you can also say that those who never took profit and are now back to break even or at a loss position have also suffered

and if you cut you also risk buying back at high if your timing is lousy

@vinoth yes there will be a 5 day trading period to buy or sell the PAL (provisional allotment letter) since this is a renounceable rights issue

or you can consider to half your holdings with any upside and use the funds to subscribe to the rights at 20C and you get the free W.

it's not going to move much and the only way to recover is to subscribe to the RI and wait it out and hope the free W at least help to narrow your cost. or you can cut loss between now and ex date.
