Learn to eat the humble pie. What is there to argue abt when all the evidence are already posted? Most likely those pledged GentB shares are not for GHK loan restructuring but for LKT's personal loans for his personal private projects.

ATK: Its true what you posted will not move the share price but it is not right for you to spread false unverified news publicly here.

Yes LKT pledged some of his GentB shares. No outsiders know what those pledged shares are for what purposes. Only the Lim family and the bank that took those GentB shares as collateral will know. The bank is bound by banking confidentiality laws to stay silent. Only the Lim family can verify what those pledge GentB shares are for. My best guess is that it could be for the massive rm10B Genting Ski resort project, the showcase venue for this Beijing Winter Olympics. It could be for their other personal projects, etc. We wont know unless LKT self-declare.

I have friends who will immediately get their banks to remove their personal guarantee for all corporate bank loans after their companies go IPO. They dont do personal guarantees or pledge their personal assets for the public listco corporate loans. Why should public shareholders get this free ride on their personal guarantee or their pledged personal assets to secure public listco corporate loans? Its a public company.

LKT is smart enough to ring-fence corporate debts and liabilities of GHK away from all other Genting group of companies. He and his team of advisors will surely use the same ring-fence strategy for GHK corporate loans and the Lim family prized assets like GentB shares (which is the controlling parent company for GenP, GenS, GenM, RWLV, etc). You think LKT is so stooopid to pledge his prized assets for GHK's (public listco) corporate loans, knowing very well that GHK has the highest chance of corporate bankruptcy among all the genting companies? Even SI88 also know since 2020 that GHK is the weakest company. "When is GHK sailing home?".... "When is GHK sailing home?"...Use you grey matter and think la.... even SI88 is smarter on this aspect.

Assuming at worse case scenario LKT may have pledge his personal GHK shares to secure more GHK corporate loans like playing showhand tactic so that corporate banks will not pull their support for GHK resulting in GHK bankruptcy. LKT is fully aware that those pledged GHK shares will be near to worthless anyway in the event corporate bankers pull their support for GHK. What is there to lose for LKT if he has pledged his personal GHK shares for GHK corporate loans? Nothing. Those GHK shares dont worth much anyway during bankruptcy.

Next, you are confused with liquidators and the bank that accepted those pledged GentB shares. Those GHK liquidators were hand chosen and appointed by LKT and the liquidator's job is to find the best outcome, price, etc so that creditors and interested parties can salvage the most out from this bad GHK situation. Liquidators dont have the power to force sell pledged shares. Its the bank's job to do it. But again, we dont know what those pledged GentB shares are for what personal loans in the first place. It is ridiculous and very irresponsible for you to spread false news publicly. I not so free to email here and there to complain/report but got some people like to email and report...... better be cautious here yah...later MoneyMakers kena.

One claimed to have fresh fund of USD3m cash + potential sale proceeds from MYEG shares to support GenB share price. Judging from his amateur ways of punting the stock market, I think he probably boasted his fund size by at least 10 times and gambling with parent's money in the stock market.

FDA’s Billy Dunn, key figure in approval of Aduhelm, to leave agency

This is actually very good news for Taurx. Billy Dunn is a hardcore amyloid hypothesis supporter and it is so obvious he is in the pocket of amyloid based companies. He even directed that Lucidity trial needs to meet the requirement of all trial patients reaching a certain level of being Beta Amyloid positive. Only these patients can then be accepted into the Lucidity trial. We are a tau based company focusing on clearing toxic tau aggregates inside brain neurons, beta amyloid has nothing to do with our drug action and tau hypothesis but that was his requirement. What is this!!!???

Now with Janet Woodcock and Billy Dunn gone, I think there is an improved chance of HMTM getting a FDA CA but its still a very tough battle, not a very high probability thing. Anyway, I will stay disciplined, sticking to my earlier plan and try to clear another 20% of my Taurx shares soon hopefully at a better price.

How to use external controls: FDA spells out thinking in new draft guidance

The use of real-world evidence to inform the FDA’s decision-making continues apace, with the agency releasing new draft guidance yesterday on how sponsors can compare outcomes of trial participants receiving a test treatment with outcomes in a group of people external to the trial.

The practice of externally controlled trials is common, particularly in oncology or other difficult areas where it’s not ethical or feasible to use internal controls.

A recent study co-authored by BioMarin employees identified 45 approvals between 2000 and 2019 where the FDA accepted external control data as part of the investigational drug’s benefit/risk assessment. The authors noted, “they did so for many reasons including the rare nature of the disease, ethical concerns regarding use of a placebo or no-treatment arm, the seriousness of the condition, and the high unmet medical need.”

In its new 17-page draft guidance, the FDA makes clear that bias is a major concern with any externally controlled trial, noting:

Although unmeasured confounding, lack of blinding, and other sources of bias cannot be eliminated in externally controlled trials, an assessment of the extent of confounding and bias, along with analytic methods to reduce the impact of such bias, are critically important in the conduct of such trials.

So when might externally controlled trials provide convincing results? The FDA says “when the effect size on a well-characterized outcome of interest is anticipated to be large.” How “large” is defined remains to be seen.

The agency also makes clear in a footnote that unknown unknowns are as much an issue as known unknowns.

Scenarios that would not be suitable for externally controlled trials include when the natural history of the disease of interest is not understood sufficiently or when the disease course is considered well-understood but is variable.

The agency also points to changes in the understanding of the natural history of a disease introducing bias.

This will affect Taurx's new trial design. Non-placebo trial VS ADNI historical data of placebo patients is considered an externally controlled trial. Generally to pass a trial for AD, if can slowdown by abt 25% can pass liow but the drug effect is super marginal, no meaningful effect at all cannot see any difference in real life application.


********The FDA says “when the effect size on a well-characterized outcome of interest is anticipated to be large.” How “large” is defined remains to be seen.**********


I personally think FDA could be looking at a slowdown of at least 50% for cognitive decline under this new guideline for externally controlled trials. But not to worry HMTM can easily pass this new guideline as this drug can almost totally halt disease progression (almost 90% cognitive slowdown on the average for all the trial patient groups namely MCI, MILD, MODERATE). HMTM can also reverse and improve cognition for Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) patient group.

Although ATK heng heng promptly spotted good timing to buy and sell for this stock on numerous occasions, ATK tired of going for 5 to 10% swings as it can be a dangerous game playing with the whales. I have a bearish view on the global stock market in general. Although I have liquidated of some Taurx shares and now able to swing abt 1.5m shares (assuming I bought all at 4.50), I personally feel it is dangerous to try and fiddle around for some small trading profits. Past performance is no guarantee to future performance and I have lost money on bad trades before. I think its safer for me to stay disciplined, continue sell more Taurx shares to accumulate a bigger war chest of cash and showhand at the nadir of stock market panic at the right stocks. I think got chance can double my returns by using this strategy. Discipline in stock market is very important. Just like when you intend to sell 50% away but only sold 5%, then doubled down another 100% bought all the way down, I think it is poor discipline. Defence is much more important than offence since the stock market is inherently risky. I hope everything will turn out well for everyone

Taokay, you think my house backyard trees grow money? ATK financially weakened after preparing for Taurx warrant exercise. Im not actively trading this stock means good news for the real big whales. My observation of price action is generally not too bad. I accumulate together when the whales are collecting and sell when I think they are selling. So far my hit rate success for this stock is abt 80%. My trades are not small, ranging from 1.5m to 3m shares. Whales really hate nibble and sharp traders that can swing large trade sizes, always spoiling their party during their accumulation and distribution phases. Zero sum game in stock trading hence Im also eating some of the whale's lunch. Burp! Sometimes I cannot say too much here, the whales need to have their lunch too. Stay nibble in this treacherous stock market and dont end up being the lunch! There is some element of luck too! 70% own effort, 30% teekong luck. Popi Popi.... :p

In the stock market food chain, the naive fishes will be eaten by a bigger smarter fish. The cocky fish that think that he is the whale will be eaten by the real Whales. ATK's observation of price action is generally not too bad, but I do not wish to disrupt the natural order of food chain in the stock market else the whales will come here less frequently and this stock will become boring without much action. If the whale's lunch always being disrupted here, will the whales still want to come here?

I prefer to trade like a lone wolf hunting. I trade to win money. I dont like to expose my trades publicly especially when my positions are not closed hence I will delete the earlier post on my trading room GenB position.

Anyway to be a good trader its not just purely technical analysis. I personally find trading psychology aspect is the most important factor for me. What is going thru in a trader's mind when he is trading... the emotional aspects, the greed and fear...... the reviewing of trades over the weekend and also after the positions closed, analysis of mistakes, gaining more experience, constant upgrading of skills, self-improvement, etc.
