@angtaykor, yeah that was the greatest time. I did not buy the lowest. But anyway still sold most of it above RM5. Good to see they are hedging. But I don’t think so genting can go back up to RM6 and above in near term. Bad sentiment now.

At that time, price was just below rm3. I did my research and took a bet that either Pfizer or Moderna vaccine will show good clinical results very soon. Hold less than a week only the Pfizer news came in and next morning huge gap up 3.30 and rallied up 20% to 3.60. Sibei soong immediately buy immediately huat. This is hallmark of a good trade. Must show profit immediately from the start.

No doubt GentB's debt has been high due to RWLV. During their last AGM's Q&A session, the management said most of their debts were locked in at fixed rate when rates were low. You can check back on this if you are free. They have a team of financial specialists to manage their debt risk as LKT much more worried abt high interest rates than you and me. Ha!

You sound like someone that bought at rm5 and sold at rm3 thats why everyday bad-mouthing this stock. High debt leh you bought also?

Taokay, you think my house backyard trees grow money? ATK financially weakened after preparing for Taurx warrant exercise. Im not actively trading this stock means good news for the real big whales. My observation of price action is generally not too bad. I accumulate together when the whales are collecting and sell when I think they are selling. So far my hit rate success for this stock is abt 80%. My trades are not small, ranging from 1.5m to 3m shares. Whales really hate nibble and sharp traders that can swing large trade sizes, always spoiling their party during their accumulation and distribution phases. Zero sum game in stock trading hence Im also eating some of the whale's lunch. Burp! Sometimes I cannot say too much here, the whales need to have their lunch too. Busy with Taurx warrant exercise now. Painful to exchange S$ and ringgit into US$ now. Lucky I have some US$ exchanged at lower rate parked in account earlier this year. Warrant exercise price US$45 each, now market price US$200 to $300. This one can make 400% profit. So I better watch and focus action on this important basket of eggs over the next couple of months.

I sold some of this at 4.91 on 19-7-21 and switched to Maybank at 8.02.
Now, Maybank (plus 3 dividends since then 28+30+28) is 9.31

Wait... I spotted something strange. Taurx is phrasing the words like this: "decline at a rate substantially less than is typical in Alzheimer’s based on published research."

This statement means that Taurx is comparing their active dose patient's performance in Lucidity trial VS the historical average score for all the placebo patients' for all the previous phase 3 clinical trials done by all other drug companies. I have been attending Taurx's AGMs every year, I have seen this term being used in Taurx's AGM's slides and I am able to comprehend what this announcement statement's phrasing actual meaning.

If Taurx is comparing their active dose's patient performance VS their own trial placebo patient group like in a phase 3 clinical trial scenario, the sentence phrasing should be read as: "decline at a rate substantially less than the trial's placebo patient group."

My personal view is that most likely Lucidity's placebo patient group somehow strangely has a stronger performance when compared to the historical average performance of all the previous phase 3 trials placebo patient group. Lucidity's placebo patient group is receiving the first generation MTC formula in very low dose. This is to make the real active dose pill and the placebo fake pill look and taste exactly the same, including for possible urine discolouration side effects. 18 years ago when I invested in Taurx, private equity investors will joking call this the "Blue Pee Pill". I think there could be some minority cases of minor positive drug effect here even at low dose MTC formula. It is very difficult to formulate a placebo fake pill that looks, taste and pee out in blue like the real pill.

Now I think the real trial result to be announced is going to be below my expected trial result score. This placebo pill become active dose is not a new issue. Taurx experienced this problem before back in 2016 when placebo pill HMTM 4mg was later discovered to be an active dose with powerful drug effects. Because of this placebo pill issue, the entire phase 3 clinical trial failed. I have mentioned abt this before in my earlier post. At that time, Taurx failed to realise that HMTM is actually 60 times the power of MTC formula. They thought its was like 30% more powerful than MTC. Some gross miscalculation then, very painful lesson learned, US$200m trial cost burned just like that, lost 6 years of drug development time.

Losers always like to accuse ATK fake trader. ATK shy shy show a bit of my red underwear colour here. Sold right at the peak. Sibei soong ah....

It is true that ATK bought plenty at 4.32 to 4.34. None was bought at the precise low of 4.31 because my buy q at that level didnt get hit 2 weeks ago.

But ATK "safety first" this morning, plenty from opening 4.64 to 4.69. You saw those very few volume done today at 4.69? Those were sold by yours truly here. Precision charting, precision timing, dare to strike at the right moment.

The way I read it, effectiveness of drug was good. Just can't reference placebo since it's not possible to create the blinded test environment. Ok la, wait for approval :)

Yes the result was way below my expectations for pre-specified endpoints. But it was above my expectation that MCI patients on the average can improve cognition and functional scores. The is called disease reversal. For mild and moderate patients, able to halt the disease is within my expectation.

All the trial patients have AD (brain scanned for amyloid deposits even though Lucidity is a Tau based trial). No way AD patients can score better or stop cognition decline if the drug does not work. Under such an outcome due to TAP (Therapeutic Active Placebo) issues, any JV licensing deals with big pharmas will have to wait until Taurx finishes the extra open label 12 mth extension with all the full data. Everyone will want to be on the cautious side. As I mentioned this morning abt the 3 ways of securing regulatory approvals, I believe Taurx shd be able to secure Conditional Marketing Approval to start commercialising HMTM but the authorities will need Taurx to conduct another larger and longer duration confirmation trial.

There are 3 types of approval:

1. Pre-specified endpoints.

2. Biomarkers. For Aduhelm FDA was using reduction in amyloid deposits. For taurx case, rate of brain atrophy us being used. Rate of brain volume atrophy is the scientifically best measurement to prove drug efficacy because AD patients' brains will all shrink due to dying brain cells.

3. When pure placebo is unfeasible (as seen in taurx's case), use ADNI historical placebo patients' performance for all the previous clinical trials done. There is ready pool of data probably 10k of placebo patients for all the past decades of AD clinical trials

There is no way Taurx is able to do double-blinded trial patients due to harmless blue pee side effects for our clinical trials without causing Therapeutic Active Placebo (TAP).
