I prefer to trade like a lone wolf hunting. I trade to win money. I dont like to expose my trades publicly especially when my positions are not closed hence I will delete the earlier post on my trading room GenB position.

Anyway to be a good trader its not just purely technical analysis. I personally find trading psychology aspect is the most important factor for me. What is going thru in a trader's mind when he is trading... the emotional aspects, the greed and fear...... the reviewing of trades over the weekend and also after the positions closed, analysis of mistakes, gaining more experience, constant upgrading of skills, self-improvement, etc.

-GenS may report only S$10m net profit for 2022 Q1. 2021 Q4 net profit already dropped drastically to $35m.

-Highlands shd see better Q1 net profit compared to previous quarter.

-USA region including RWLV shd see EBITA of abt rm210 to rm250m for 2022 Q1. The EBITA for USA region during 2021 Q3 and Q4 (including RWLV) was in this range for both quarters.

-GenP may see 2022 Q1 net profit increase by at least 30% compared to the previous quarter.

-GentB's 2021 Q4 Net LOSS attributable to shareholders was rm130m due to very high tax expense. My estimate guess for 2022 Q1 is Net PROFIT attributable to shareholders at abt rm100m.

All of GentB's casinos already fully opened during 2021 Q4 but yet it was still a loss making quarter. We need big whale China gamblers to start visiting our casinos before we can go back to those good old days of much stronger earnings. When will the china whales come?

A stock trader needs to apprise conditions to make money successfully. The behavior of a stock's price actions enable you to judge whether or not it is going to proceed in accordance with the precedents that your observation has noted. No diagnosis, no prognosis. No prognosis, no trading profit.

Macro picture may not be conducive for big swings at the moment. 40 yr high CPI, hawkish fed potentially going for 50 basis rate hikes, quantitative tightening possibly at US$95B / mth, inverted yield curve, covid resurgence at TiongLand, international sanctions here and there, etc. Guerrilla warfare tactics of short swings seems less risky and can be just as profitable.

Maybe East wind over now West wind season? After suffering significant evaporated profits twice since my early Dec 2021 trade entries, I have lowered my upswing expectation from abt 60+ sen to abt 30+ sen. Has been much more rewarding since this adjustment. Seasons change, wind directions change. Up to an observant stock trader to steer his ship accordingly. The swing cycle duration is shorter, the swing magnitude is smaller also. But the swing distance travelled will work out to be abt the same since 2 short swings is abt the same as a large swing like the good old days.

Yes venture capital investment needs a lot of conviction. I just more than doubled my position in a biotech unicorn a few months ago until I own abt 0.7% of the company. The biggest bet of my life..... to save the world from devastating diseases and to make some serious money from it! :)

Trading GentB has not been as profitable as before. This stock lacks conviction to go above rm5. Last time when countries are on lockdown, GentB got pushed up to 5.50. Now all GentB's casinos open but weighted average price for the past 3 months probably abt 4.60 only. Disappointing.

1. Top up with more of his personal assets OR
2. I force sell immediately.

I don't have to depend on the whatever GHK Liquidator's decision on 1 March 2022. These are independent matters. Those shares are pledged to me, its my prerogative to deal with the loans in default.

Its true what you posted will not move the share price but it is not right for you to spread false unverified news publicly here.

Yes LKT pledged some of his GentB shares. No outsiders know what those pledged shares are for what purposes. Only the Lim family and the bank that took those GentB shares as collateral will know. The bank is bound by banking confidentiality laws to stay silent. Only the Lim family can verify what those pledge GentB shares are for. My best guess is that it could be for the massive rm10B Genting Ski resort project, the showcase venue for this Beijing Winter Olympics. It could be for their other personal projects, etc. We wont know unless LKT self-declare.

I have friends who will immediately get their banks to remove their personal guarantee for all corporate bank loans after their companies go IPO. They dont do personal guarantees or pledge their personal assets for the public listco corporate loans. Why should public shareholders get this free ride on their personal guarantee or their pledged personal assets to secure public listco corporate loans? Its a public company.

LKT is smart enough to ring-fence corporate debts and liabilities of GHK away from all other Genting group of companies. He and his team of advisors will surely use the same ring-fence strategy for GHK corporate loans and the Lim family prized assets like GentB shares (which is the controlling parent company for GenP, GenS, GenM, RWLV, etc). You think LKT is so stooopid to pledge his prized assets for GHK's (public listco) corporate loans, knowing very well that GHK has the highest chance of corporate bankruptcy among all the genting companies? Even SI88 also know since 2020 that GHK is the weakest company. "When is GHK sailing home?".... "When is GHK sailing home?"...Use you grey matter and think la.... even SI88 is smarter on this aspect.

Assuming at worse case scenario LKT may have pledge his personal GHK shares to secure more GHK corporate loans like playing showhand tactic so that corporate banks will not pull their support for GHK resulting in GHK bankruptcy. LKT is fully aware that those pledged GHK shares will be near to worthless anyway in the event corporate bankers pull their support for GHK. What is there to lose for LKT if he has pledged his personal GHK shares for GHK corporate loans? Nothing. Those GHK shares dont worth much anyway during bankruptcy.

Next, you are confused with liquidators and the bank that accepted those pledged GentB shares. Those GHK liquidators were hand chosen and appointed by LKT and the liquidator's job is to find the best outcome, price, etc so that creditors and interested parties can salvage the most out from this bad GHK situation. Liquidators dont have the power to force sell pledged shares. Its the bank's job to do it. But again, we dont know what those pledged GentB shares are for what personal loans in the first place. It is ridiculous and very irresponsible for you to spread false news publicly. I not so free to email here and there to complain/report but got some people like to email and report...... better be cautious here yah...later MoneyMakers kena.

Position sizing and risk control / money management skills are equally important as charting skills but are often overlooked. Personally I think trading psychology (mental state) is the most important factor.

No computer program is able to draw trendlines by itself. Years ago I spent a 5 digit sum to attend a stock trading course conducted by a top professional trader to learn how professionals draw and use trendlines. I have using and applying what I have learnt since then.

You sure your trend-line can show that a stock has weak support? Got experienced traders here. The purpose of trendlines is not to show weak or strong support. Trendlines are biomarkers that show potential support / resistance zones. From my own trendlines, there was a breakout last week and GentB is a strong stock.

Thats what media is portraying. USA behind the NATO scene. We dont care abt their politics but this war mongering is helping commodities sectors.

KLCI gunning for 16xx instead of 13xx.

GenP performing well is expected (strong commodities / inflation theme plus Russian war mongering). RWLV may surprise on the upside.

No wonder got someone here keep posting and deleting numerous of her own posts everyday. I not so free and on to email i3 to report and complain lah. Not happy abt others, I just post things to rub rub poke poke them more direct communication.

Yes good investors and traders are flexible when they realise their mistakes. To naysayers like MG123 or SI88, its still not too late to buy a trending stock. Just BTFD....buy the fxxxing dip (if there is any...). I also waiting for the next dip to add more position but it didn't come.....

Posting on social media wont make me money but I think there is high probability that buying this dip will make me more money.

Old friend Sharefisher, I trade to make money. Not for fun. Not for jokes. I nailed GentB below rm3, nailed it again at 4.50 several months ago and nailed it again this time at 4.40. I do make make money trading GentB.

@Sharefisher, Im trying to follow the advice of new badminton world champion Loh Kean Yew. Posting on social media is detrimental to his tournament performance. I find it true also for stock trading.

Another decision that Loh made to help him focus during the tournament was to go off social media and completely turn off his phone's notifications.

Mr Ho (Loh's coach) said that Loh's decision to have a social media blackout during the world championships was influenced by what happened at a previous tournament.

At the French Open in October, Loh defeated Malaysia's higher-ranked Lee Zii Jia and as a result, there were many people congratulating him on social media. This happened in the middle of the tournament and Loh was reading the messages.

Then, he lost the next match to India's Lakshya Sen and Mr Ho said that this was partly due to the unnecessary pressure from the social media buzz.

"(The messages) will build up some pressure, and against Lakshya Sen, he was pressured."

From then on, Loh kept away from social media and kept his focus on his opponents.

"He learned his lesson well and very quickly. In the next tournament, he immediately applied it," Mr Ho said.
