PETALING JAYA: Packet One Networks (M) Sdn Bhd (P1) is inching closer to a merger and acquisition (M&A) deal with legal documents having been drafted by advisers, banking sources said.
However, it isn’t clear who the exact party the M&A is with, but indications are that it is either DiGi.Com Bhd or Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM), both of whom have been widely speculated in the past to be eyeing an M&A with P1.

maukaya..just sharing..looking at FA, u r rite as so far no fundamentals announced as per their new O&G venture etc..howver TA only look at the chart px movements.. which has tried to brk out thru their tight trading range recently.. this is assuming that the players who hv bot into this counter from the low 0.60s ..they might do so.. knowing that somethg is coming up..that is reflected in that px move to test the 0.72-73 agn...again the wrts movement has been solid.. breaking out of the 32-34 res to test 0.43-45 lvls..px always move first agst the FA..lets just c how it goes.. good luck..

Sersol Bhd’s latest set of financial results came in stronger, with losses for the third quarter ended Sept 30 down more than 90% to RM51mil compared with RM634mil a year ago due to the improved performance in its Thai and Malaysian coatings manufacturing subsidiaries.

Revenue for the quarter leaped 23.7% year-on-year to RM4.85mil from RM3.92mil.

In a Bursa filing, it said: “Our group will continue to maintain the current plastic coatings turnover and a slight increase in turnover is projected in the second half of 2013 as our group will expand its business from current electrical and electronic to industrial coatings. with ithe latter being the main contributor to our group turnover in the future.”

Technical Comments: Bullish momentum on Tanjung Offshore should enhance breakout potential above 77.5sen (29/5/13 peak) to target 90sen (123.6%FP), 97sen (138.2%FP) and RM1.03 (150%FP) ahead. Important retracement support is at 65sen (23.6%FR).
