Analysts pour cold water on YTL despite putting in the lowest bid for the MRT3 project. If the analysts are correct, then it will be a very bad news.

I too have YTLPower but this one was bought some time ago.

I add YTL at the same time when hng33 bought when there is a high volume breakout.

This morning I thought both YTL and YTLPOWER will be green but instead they are in a sea of red together with their structured co-warrants. Fortunately the close at white/green.

I dare not add YLTPOWER yet. I need to wait YTL moves to the stable zone first. Now YTL is very choppy. This morning I thought YTL will move towards RM1 but it drops to RM0.935 instead.

Knowing that EPF is selling heavily, short sellings were also done by stockists. This makes situations worse.

The good thing today is YTL closed at 0.95/0.955 (nearer to RM1) while YTLPOWER dropped only by 1 sen despite the heavy selling by EPF.

EPF wants to sell all shares in YTL and YTLPOWER. They need cash. According to one forumer, it will take around 80 days to still all shares. Got to wait until end of August.

En Wahidul, EPF has seased to be a substantial share holder in both YTL and YTLPOWER. That means EPF has less than 5% shares left. The balance 5% shares left is still a lot. EPF still has more shares left in YTLPOWER as compared to YTL.

Yes, Hume Industry also reported an improved result for its cement sector. But EPF keeps on selling on strength. Today each time it reached 0.785/0.790, EPF sold heavily. Few hours of rise, sold down by EPF in 1 second. 😥

Next week, all three counters YTL, YTLPOWR and MCEMENT will announce the third quarter results simultaneously.
