Southeast Asia’s largest independent power producer posted earnings of RM412.80mil in FY ended Dec 31, 2014 up from RM234.65mil in 2013 while its earnings were RM547.81m in FY12.

Based on the paid-up of five billion shares, its market capitalisation would be RM9bil.

“Moving forward, we aim to expand our effective power generation capacity to 10,000 megawatts (MW) and our effective water production capacity by approximately 150% by 2020."

The proceeds raised by Malakoff and the selling shareholders from the IPO amounted to RM1.80bil and RM940mil respectively, which brings the total proceeds raised from the IPO to RM2.74bil.

Of that amount, RM2.3bil was raised from shares offered to institutional investors through the bookbuilding exercise, investors approved by Ministry of International Trade and Industry and cornerstone investors.
