Luster Industries MD waiting for concrete offer
KUALA LUMPUR: Luster Industries Bhd’s managing director Lim See Chea said he would decide on the next course of action only when there was a concrete offer to acquire the company.
“I often receive verbal offers either to buy other companies or sell my company, but nothing in black and white. So, with regards to the report, I will only decide, plan or execute when there is something concrete on the table,” he said when contacted.
He was responding to news reports that three parties, which had placed a bid to take over the Kuala Kedah Jetty, were believed to be in talks to take control of Luster Industries.
The jetty links the state’s mainland to Langkawi Island via a sea route.
The parties collectively seeking ownership of Luster are Puncak Semangat Sdn Bhd, Manfield Development Sdn Bhd and Jalinan Muhibah Sdn Bhd.
Luster Industries recently returned to the black, registering a profit of RM501,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2013, versus a loss of more than RM3mil in the same period last year. – Bernama

From a double digit to single digit for months! Crazy! As long as there are ppl interested to buy, it will still go down. Hopefully, one fine day, it decides to move upward n benefit those who are still holding these shares. Some ppl like to play that way one... But to me, holding too long also means opportunity lost using the $ to buy other better stocks. Anyway, Good luck, everyone.

Actually, if u look at their track record past 6 months, karex managed to add rm2- to their share price before 1:2 bonus issue last month. I believe they can easily out perform themselves like before. I was told it will hit a rm6/- before year end. Let's See if it is true.

Yoko, if u want something below 7 sen, u can try yfg-wa. Selling at 5.5 - 6 sen only. Started moving only a few days ago. Haha!
