Bursa Securities queries Industronics after plunge

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has queried Industronics Bhd after its share price hit limit-down when it fell the maximum 30 sen for penny stocks, on Monday.

At the close of trading, Industronics - whose core business is public information display systems and solution -- was down 30 sen to 38.5 sen with 2.64 million shares done.

According to an intra-day chart, the share price plunged about 3pm. At 38.5 sen, it was the lowest since Jan 14, 2014.

The FBM KLCI fell 5.24 points or 0.28% in a late sell-off, which also impact lower liners and penny stocks. Turnover was 2.168 billion shares valued at RM1.74bil. Declining stocks beat advancers 647 to 235 gainers while 259 counters were unchanged.

Bursa Securities directed Industronics to explain the reasons for the sell-down in the share price so that investors could make informed investment decisions.

Yes, a lot red today. My remisier told me big sharks exiting some counters ( check top loss counters). This counter, no shark. So ok. Just don't follow others throw without reason. For long term investors, will earn $. Keep. That's what I was told.

Johnny, my remisier told me some big shark throw shares 2 exit today. Those ( top few) counters that r affected r gone case :(. So terrible. Sad 4 those affected.
