Very good question....I am sure the reaction of the Tokyo Nikkei and the yen perplexed the planners as much as it perplexed you.

If they knew the reaction is going to be so negative, I am sure they would not have travelled this road.

Abenomics is based on pushing the yen down, the Nikkei up, speed up domestic demand and supply....the negative interest achieved none of the above.
