That is for the buyers to decide...
For me...I decide I cannot understand their LLA.....and many fund managers find themselves in the embarrassing position that they cannot explain the LLA to their colleagues.
2016-02-11 12:21 | Report Abuse
Is that so?
Well.....I tried to understand their LLA, I couldn't.....If I couldn't, no fund manager can....
And people don't like to buy stuffs they couldn't understand.

Of course that is value destroying, that is very negative for sentiments.

Smart investor........In that case, go back to step one,
Removing the issue of competent and alpha performance.....
There are still two truism.....
1...... That in an environment of low interest rates below inflation......to borrow is smart, to save not so smart......to borrow and invest is the smartest.
Think about it.....removing the issue of competent and alpha performance....the current world and Malaysia monetary policy suggest that the smarter one is the one stays invested at all times.......that every bear market is an opportunity to buy shares.........on one principal assumption..........that the investor has unlimited capacity to borrow.
Since no one has unlimited capacity to borrow we adjust the strategy accordingly. We have to sacrifice infinite earnings for reasonable earnings.

Good observation....but the only reason this is true is because all main stream media is written by and for people who holds shares.
In America they are having a Bernie Sanders revolution that may change things.

Odd, isn't it? Europe, Britain, US, Japan, China all trying to devalue their currencies. And wanting MORE inflation. Most of us in Malaysia want it to be the other way. Except for those holding export-oriented counters, of course :-) But that's essentially it when it comes to currency appreciation or depreciation - "our individual position". Good or Bad is relative. There are critical things which we have zero control over. But we can do something about it in the form of our response; to adapt and try to benefit.

2........ That the only free lunch in town is diversification.....that is why CFA and universities teaches you to diversify. Problem is, too much diversification, you will never be rich as Bill Gates.
Add every thing together, stock discovery in growing companies is still the smarter choice.

That everybody not as competent as they believe they are.

Generally there are 3 camps here.
Camp No. 1 (KYY + OTB): Still holding on export stocks. Of course they will say ringgit will remain weak.
Camp No. 2 (Kcchonhnz): No exposure to export stocks. This camp can sleep well regardless of currency fluctuation.
Camp No. 3 (icon8888): Holding cash. This camp already go for holiday. Haha

Plenty of export stocks entering into attractive territory.....eg Pensoni, Kein Hin, Chinwell, Latitude., Homeritz, Kesmi.
For a major stake holder, there is no way one can behave like a 23 years old young ciku......and certainly not when the feelings are so negative and after the said shares have dropped 20 % or more.
Feelings are short term in nature....businesses last a long time.

I ham very happy to see that most of my articles have readers and comments. But unfortunately most of the critics cannot appreciate my writings. I have high respect for JT Yeo and Desa20201956. Please write to me yewyin33@gmail.com because I wish to know you and I would like to explore how we can work together to make more money.
My advice to the abusive critics is that they must look at their own track record to see badly they have done. Some of them cannot even write without grammatical mistakes.
Stock: [VS]: V.S INDUSTRY BHD

Technically I would agree VS is over. A company that over issued bonus shares and warrants until it becomes a third liner $1 shares means the selling pressure, the over hang and the image is destroyed. I have never agreed to anyone who do such short term stuffs.
But if it can continue to have growth and good profits of course the share will recover to new highs......but it will take a few quarters, of course.
