@beginner. ADR reflects the underlying asset. Price difference cannot be allowed. Either the price goes up to meet, or ADR's will tumble. Either way, the same asset must be priced accordingly. Or market inefficientcy will create a whole new set of problems. Just look at the charts.

ADR is the shares of a foreign company sold on foreign exchanges , only difference is , no voting rights. Look at the the charts before Friday. They're supposed to mirror the underlying asset and they have been till now.

The short sellers know what they're doing, this is not their first rodeo. I bet they're positioning to close positions, don't provide your shares to them for cheap. If you sell, make them pay through their nose for it. And enjoy your windfall.
