Insiders are letting the price drop so that the short sellers sell at low price and they themselves can buy back cheap. This just means the short sellers hole is getting deeper and deeper. This ending will be legendary.

Everyone seems to be forgetting. Covid 19 is not a publicly listed stock. Yes, TG made a lot due to the pandemic . But we're here trading or investing in the company and its business. All this talk of cases , mutations , vaccination and so forth . Will the results be as expected? Will revenue and profit be good ? Will dividend be declared as promised. Is ASP dropping dramatically? ( like some keep assuming) . These are the questions that needs exploring to derive if TG valuations are cheap or expensive. We will find out soon enough.

This so clearly RSS last attempt to create panic selling or big funds selling down to create opportunity to buy the shares cheap. Either reason, hold firm . Think carefully if your going to cut . You might regret it. The result very likely record breaking . If you notice , insiders not buying in volume like usual. Perhaps they know they don't have to defend. Results going to do all the defending they need. We shall see on the 9th .

Same thing happen with maybank before quarter report. Then it went up 26 cents almost paying off the dividend. I think possibly happen here as well. Lets see. I for one adding . If drop further so be it. At this price div yield close to 10%.

If they declare 25 cents good enough. If they declare higher and next quarter less , all the analysts sure diarrhoea none stop. Consistency is key . Especially in this emotional market. Its true , price relative to pre covid is considered high. However , if you factor in the billions that was made and still going to make from last year till end of 2022 . Then how do you.plan to value the company ? Its not as simple as , " oh covid coming to an end. Its going back to 1.xx ."
Results matter, cash matters and most importantly (to me anyway) dividend yield matters.
Even if covid ends soon and that's a really big IF , value the company on its performance. Which is pretty much certain for this year and most of next. Holding this stock , just for dividend yield alone is good enough. Any capital gains that follow, bonus.
There's a reason TG's PE is at 6. Price versus EARNINGS. So decide for yourself if TG price is expensive or cheap . You only make or lose money on your own decisions and actions.

Solid strategy. Selling down and buying cheaper. But if you time it wrong , you'll end up needing to pay more to.pick up or losing the investment all together . With all the big funds involved , be careful , it won't be easy to see the bottom or the top.

I think that the RSS folk have made a lot since January. No denying that. But I also think that their current position is quite terrible and I don't see a plausible exit from this without some major loses. It will be interesting to see the outcome. If bursa suspends RSS on June 1st to curb the damage of foreign funds exit on Monday. Game over for shorties. Looks like this low will be 5.08. Should have bought much much more today . Oh well , not easy to predict this counter.

Irregardless of MCO , number of cases, factories closed and gloves relevance or trend. Results do matter . For next 3 quarters , results are certain . Another year results are likely good. Thats plenty of time to reap the returns. At this price ,? Easy decision.

I think the most shorted company period. What does this mean? In the last 4 to 5 months TG got shorted down so many times. Lowest , till 4.50 I believe. But then got pushed up so aggressively till over 6 at one point. I think the shorties have decided to be cautious now. Their position is very deep and they know it is unwise bordering dumb to short at this price.
Reversal is likely , enjoy the dividends and be patient.
I personally am adding on weakness. If goes to 4.50 levels again , which I doubt . I will be aggressively buying and thanking them shorties for another free roller coaster ride.

Short selling volume at this price not that high. I suspect the billions in tan sri coffers is scaring them a bit. Now they attacking harta obviously. Looks like harta and their big share holders starting tonfight back. Better than Korean drama this one.

Good buying opportunity imo . I can't believe short sellers still dare at this price. Perhaps from 8 to 9 . But at 5 ? So very brave , maybe they dig the hole so deep cannot climb out already. Results are good . If there is a sell off , it will be to scare investors to sell cheap. Dont fall for it. I won't be surprised to see the price return to 8.10 to 8.30 even after dividend pay out. If you believe in the company and results , hold firm . Or you may regret .

At this price , why scared . Collect dividend . PE at 6 , this counter is amazing. So many times made over 10% within these 4 months. And if wrong , no matter . Collect the dividend yield and be patient.
If it wasn't for the really bad PR and the RSS folks , this counter would be so expensive by now.
Those share holders with average 7,8 or 9 may have to wait longer. But if they had actively traded , their average price would have been brought down so much by now.

A lot of institutions hold large quantity of maybank shares. They can control the price up or down. More so with the lack of foreign participation.
Lately , they have been pushing down the price to keep the drp price low. They succeeded. Now , they are trying to collect as they have sold a lot over the last few weeks for this purpose. But naturally , they want to collect cheap.
Creating large fluctuations in price to scare retail investors and traders. Quite successfully in fact. Hard to predict, but I suspect 8.60 to 8.80 in the short term is quite possible. Depending on the QR report obviously and other political / pandemic factors. We shall see i guess.

Share holder approval already received during agm on the 6th. This confirms the amount of dividend to be paid. ( i was relieved to be honest as the unusual delays and silence from them had me worried at one stage)

Only difference here is "announcement date" if I'm.not mistaken is still not set , since ex date and payment date is not yet announced. This affects the drp price correct ?
Irregardless of their reasons , if the price rallies , the drp price will be higher and vice versa obviously.

My opinion only , I believe , there will be strong support between 5.20 to 5.25. Anything below this is trading opportunity. Already profit 103k with this very large trading range.
Having said that, with whats going on in.India and Malaysia as well, I expected this to be well on.its way to 7 by now. This sell off seem aggressive, and RSS alone can't cause this. Best to be cautious.

As long as AGM not delayed again and payment soon . Last year payment was 6th May. Now AGM also not done , payment when? Never expected this from counter like Maybank . I think its time to shift some to Public Bank.

Based on epf acquisitions and bursa being the most active casino lately , I think next quarter will be very good results. All this activity in the markets will surely run up revenue. Should have bought more at 8.40. I suspect more dividends and good chance price will slowly inch up to 9 to 9.25. Good luck all.

This like watching train wreck live show. So much attention , media and spotlight. Maybe the mastermind escape , so clever to keep hidden. But all the generals and lieutenants going for long holiday , somewhere that they get to shower together. Really kesian all those got burnt.

RSS in Malaysia, stands for "regulated " short selling. There are limits. I believe 4% , or such. So no, they can't continue indefinitely. Last I checked, it was somewhere around 3.15% , not sure of the current numbers. I think the shorties have tapered down a lot. In fact , I've seen signs of closing positions. A lot of this resistance from moving upwards looks like profit taking actually. But support above 5.45 is surprisingly very strong . A good strong results announcement will blow all this resistance away for certain.

I'm actually quite concerned that MBB is choosing to keep us in the dark like this. Doesn't it pride itself with transparency and good shareholder relations. Failure of an AGM is embarrassing enough. But zero information thereafter is totally unacceptable.
This points to the hiding of something bad ? What else have this management failed at ? What irks me the most is I moved substantial funds from gloves to this counter (missing out on substantial gains ) just to get the silent treatment.
They should fire their entire PR team for this fiasco !

RSS don't need to buy back on the open market to close positions. Private placement and side deals are an option. This could be a concern. Best to be cautious as target listing price is 5.20 and the defence above this price won't be aggressive. Trade with caution. If your going long, absolutely nothing to be worried about. In my opinion anyway.

Starting to lose confidence with this counter and management. AGM also can fail ? This penny stock or what? Brag of big dividend, but till now still no new AGM date ,ex date or price set. All this makes sense. One hand sell to other , control the price for their benefit on drp. But out of curiosity, who is their enemy ? If everyone gains from lower drp , what is the resistance?
Last weeks sudden spike to 8.48. Ridiculously buying 21k lots at 8.48 , who ? The bank itself ? Foreign funds? An error in keying price? Who gains from higher or cancelled drp ?

This counter will range between 5.20 to 5.25 for the near term . As I mentioned before, its simple maths . Target of 7 billion to be raised versus estimated amount of shares for HKEX listing clearly announced and published pointing towards a 5.20 offer price.

Knowing this, an amazing opportunity to trade. Successfully ,103k profit already since February. Clearly that's the target listing price and will be defended fiercely. Any surges above won't be defended and naturally will drop back to this range (like friday). The inverse proves true as well, any drops below this range will be defended.

Imo , tg is worth much more . Easily 7 to 8 mid term and probably much more long term. But that doesn't mean the price will reflect what its worth. Sentiment, TA (momentum traders) , politics (US Ban) and the pandemic progress /ending will significantly affect the price.

Take this opportunity to trade, as after the listing , this will no longer be the case. If your average price is much higher, then you could have lowered it . Selling at 5.50 and buying back at 4.50 would've lowered your average by 20% almost. If not willing to trade and just interested in investing, well then you will just have to be patient and wait. In the mean time enjoying the high dividend yield so still a decent position.

I for one will watch closely for another buying / trading opportunity.

Wait for announcement. I suspect foreign buying. 21k lots at 8.48 points to very high excess demand vs supply. Im not surprised considering the high demand for yield.
