There's talk here in this forum of institutional support of Dnex. And it's not in their interest to depress its price. On the contrary these buyers don't often buy in the open market. They mostly buy off-market and at a good discount of market prices. And they are more interested in medium to long term dividend gains than capital gains. On the plus side, the fact that they are buying Dnex shows that they are confident that Dnex will deliver the earnings for them in the longer term.

On the flip side, existing shareholders will suffer shareholding dilution as the large block of 697.85 million shares is equivalent to 22.6% of its enlarged share capital. With the warrant conversions, DNeX’s share capital has ballooned to 3.086 billion shares from 1.76 billion a year ago. DNeX’s largest shareholder Arcadia Acres Sdn Bhd’s stake, which holds 360 million shares, has been diluted to 11.68% from 15.1% before the warrant conversion. Its shareholding, the investment vehicle of former director Zainal Abidin Abd Jalil, was at 20.48% in March last year.

The high number of warrant conversions has enabled DNeX to raise RM348 million cash. The fresh fund will be timely for DNeX to finance its acquisition spree. the selling is well absorbed despite the listing of slmost 5.5m new shares. Buyers are still in control. All other indicators are bullish.

chartwise the stock has made higher highs and higher lows. but the long upper shadow on today's candle is worrying.

Not a good settlement deal. 12 quarterly payments over 3 years don't seem to contribute meaningful to its finance, I think.

technically the doji may signal that the uptrend is over. This morning's trading seemed to confirm this despite cloding 2 sen higher.

Finally got my 627 dividend shares.

I first bought this stock on 6 Nov 2015. it was then known as Panpages. I bought 5000 shares @ 0.31. I never got to sell the shares because prices kept falling until there was a change in ownership (I think) and Panpages changed its name to MSCM. My 5000 shares rose to 15,000 shares with share splits and bonus issues when the company changed its name to Hong Seng. Before the recent share split, Hong Seng was trading at 1.55. After the recent share split, my 15,000 shares doubled to 30,000 and the x price was 0.835.
Today the market value of my 30,000 shares is RM32,100. Contrast this to the RM1,550 (before brokerage, etc) I paid for the 5,000 Panpages shares in 2015. Hong Seng has now proposed to issue 1 free warrant B for every 3 ordinary shares. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I can see that the value of my shares is likely to rise.

It's on an uptrend. Price has broken all resistance and set new high at 3.66, six sen above its target. It can still go higher. Temporary price drop may be due to the overall weak market sentiment with the index falling by about five points up to this point. Managed to buy some at 3.50 to add to my holding.
