Well, I did warn you that the sell signal has been triggered well in advance.

Perhaps. But RM9,647.40 net profit in 3 days without paying a single sen for Malton-WB. And RM40,770.80 (net) from Myeg in 24 days! Bought 100,000 shares at 0.91 on 6 May, the Monday after the GE, and sold at 1.33 on 30 May.

Nothing wrong in being a trader or a speculator. Without them the stock markets will be very dull. There are many fundamentally good stocks whose price does not do justice to their value and many of these companies have been taken private. The reason: no traders and speculators to drive their price up.
I bought Malton-WB at 0.36 on 11.06 and sold at 0.46 on 14.6 and made a handsome contra gain. I am waiting for a buy signal to buy it again.

There will be a time you have to take profit. Wouldn't it make sense to take it as high as you can although it is rare for anyone to sell at the highest price. A paper gain is just that. You don't get the money until you sell the stock.

Technical and fundamental analyses are compatible. But to a technical trader, preventing and controlling losses is more important than outright profit seeking. Technical trading means to trade with a plan that identifies potential gain and loss. To make profits consistently requires you not only to identify the trading opportunity but also manage the risk of the trade. Prices seldom move in one direction for long. Even a major trend shows retracements. When the market runs out of cash, traders have to close positions to get their cash back so they can put on new trades. If they have been buyers, they need to sell. If they have been (short) sellers, they need to buy.

Sorry folks, sell signal for this stock has already been triggered. But investors shouldn't be concern. Good stock to keep for long term. Traders should take profit. Those averse to risks should cut loss.

Nothing to complain. All is fair and square. What goes up must come down and a bear market is to be welcomed as it presents buying opportunities. Many good stocks are at a bargain. Problem is finding the money.

Red is the colour of prosperity! Plenty of good stocks to pick at a bargain. Only thing if I don't have the money! But the selling has not sopped yet. Not the time to buy yet. Just wait for the buy signal.

Surin, agree with you. Despite the depressed market today, the stock has held well despite erasing 8 sens from yesterday's 19 sen gain. Chart suggests a lot more upside.

I bought at 2.92 yesterday. Price now is 2.84. Still a good price to buy. It was 2.82 this morning. I think buyers are watching the index and taking a cue from it. Slow though.

Hobson, price on 6/5 was 0.53.

Hobson64, not likely to fall to 0.53 unless there is some extraordinary events to plunge markets. Worst case scenario is that it would be well supported at 0.65. It has already touched 0.775 sen as expected.

Refer to CIMB Nazir's warning on hot money leaving Asia. Hope he is wrong.
2013-06-20 11:45 | Report Abuse
Next support at 0.77/0.78. If this is breached, then 0.755 would be next. If this is also breached, then could expect price to fall to 50-day EMA of 0.68. There should be good support at 0.65 after that. Next week will be crucial. Market is likely to crash if hot money does leave Malaysia.
2013-06-20 11:23 | Report Abuse
Looks likely to find support at 0.85 if sentiment doesn't improve. No thanks to CIMB Nazir's warning of foreign hot money fleeing Asia's emerging markets. Malaysia would be most vulnerable if he is proven right in the next week or so.

Thanks, thlim123. Price well supported at 0.915/0.920 for now. Don't know much about candlesticks. At 0.92, what has been formed and what's the significance and repercussions? Regards

I am new to this and trying to learn as much as I can. This looks like a fundamentally sound stock but its chart does not look good. Price looks like it could fall further before finding support at 0.85. It looks like a long way to 1.00 and it has first got to clear the 0.96 hurdle. Like many people here have said, this stock may be a good mid to long term buy. Correct me if I am wrong.
