Something definitely brewing for Top Glove. In the past, they used to split when the price up to $14/15. If history is going to repeat itself.. this could be one of it..

This quarter also a confirmed hit in term of profit, where all the factor will be in: Production max output, Currency as USD is stronger in term of exchange as mainly all sales is export, low latex raw material price... with just this, THIS MONTH CONFIRM a record high for Supermax. And all this is factual. And gloves definitely disposable, a pair per patient, unlike mask.. that you can make from home.. let it ride high... and make history + us proud!

Dusting dusting contrarian, 29 May is the Ex-date for bonus issue. plus the LEE, WEN-JUNG (a substantial shareholder) acquired 140,000 shares on 17-May-2019 with the price of 1.6, i think nothing to be worried about, just the current economy outlook on Tech stock - overall bad due to ongoing US-China trade war.. it will be over by a day, rebound tomorrow or by next week, when nearer to ex-date *finger cross* collecting to lower down AVE

From the graph, the LME is consider on uptrending.

FYI: Pmetal driven by a ramp-up to full capacity, higher aluminium prices, a weak ringgit and cost savings in logistics. A major potential catalyst will be a further 50% expansion at its Samalaju plant. Initiate coverage with BUY and target price of RM3.30, based on a 17x fully-diluted 2018F EPS.

If the Aluminium price is on upper trend, so do the earning.

Further to that, they yet to announce the quarter dividend, the rush will follow soon. Hold still. If as what LilyLL say, if it fall to 2.69, it is a good time to add more, as this counter, never fail to repeat history (high point of RM3.00) and create better future (Higher than RM3.00).

Confident is from yourself, not given. If you beleive the counter can do better, it definitely will. Do not frustrated over small drop.

I ended my misery keeping for 2 years. There no guarantee that they will make any progress. After reading this, https://klse.i3investor.com/blogs/guru/122416.jsp it is best to take a first cut. But i manage to lower down my ave, from 0.13 to 0.065, sold at 0.07. Looking at the total Ask and Total bid. Selling more than buying now

The EPF buying pattern, collection on 14, 17, 18 and 19/Oct, price range from 4.9 to 5... believe that, in order to average down the price, they have to force the price to drop lower, to collect more, to lower down their AVE. It is not possible for them to sell off now since the bought in price is definitely higher than the current price now

Press Metal’s new capacities to boost earnings growth
Press Metal Bhd (July 3, RM2.64)
Maintain outperform with a low-er target price (TP) of RM3.88: We visited Press Metal Bhd’s Samalaju smelting plant in Bintulu, Sarawak, recently to gather some updates on its smelting operation. We came away feeling positive as we believe that Phase 2 of the Samalaju plant will
be fully operational by the end of the third quarter of 2015 (3Q15), while Phase 3 will commence operations by end of 4Q15. The new capacities will translate into superior earnings growth in FY16. On June 8, Press Metal started to ramp up its Phase 2 Samalaju smelt-ing plant, which was shut down temporarily on May 21 due to a fire.About 15% of the Samalaju smelting pots
are already up and running. Although the remaining pots are still being cleaned and repaired management is confi dent that the plant will resume full operations by end-3Q15. We also like
the fact that, unlike the previous power shutdown incident in Mukah, the pots in Samalaju remain functional and were adequately insured.

The Phase 3 Samalaju smelting plant (320,000 tonnes per annum [tpa] capacity) will be trailing its Phase 2 plant (320,000-tonne capacity). The construction progress of Phase 3 is 60% completed. Moreover, on June 16, the early supply and delivery of 500mw power by Syarikat Sesco Bhd is timely as the group will be able to execute full production upon commissioning of
Phase 3. As ramping up of production takes at least six months, we expect the company’s total smelting capacity to increase from the existing 440,000 to 760,000 tpa before the end of FY16.
Based on our sensitivity analysis, a 1% increase in US dollar against the ringgit will increase FY15 to FY16E earnings by 5% (+ RM14 million to RM20 million). Our FY15E (estimate) earnings
are relatively unchanged (cut by only 1%). Nonetheless, FY16E earnings are revised slightly higher by 2% as we revise the production capacity 50% higher in FY16 in line with the
start of production in Phase 3, but this is partly off set by the full power drawdown from Sesco.

http://www.thestar.com.my/Business/Business-News/2015/03/19/EA-to-diversify-business-ops/?style=biz

PETALING JAYA: EA Holdings Bhd (EAH) is looking to acquire 20% equity interest in Cekap Air Sdn Bhd for RM47.04mil which will allow it to diversify its existing business operations into mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering and construction project management consultancy businesses.

It told Bursa Malaysia that it would also be able to expand its marketing reach to the other industries that Cekap and its wholly-owned subsidiary WY Consultancy & Development Sdn Bhd are involved in, thereby reducing its reliance on its current mix of customers which are mainly in the services industry.

However it said the board intended to continue with its existing core business and, upon completion of the proposed diversification, be principally involved in the IT industry and the M&E engineering and construction industry.

“The board anticipates that EAH Group’s new business activities in the M&E engineering business and construction project management consultancy business may contribute 25% or more of the net profits and/or result in a diversion of 25% or more of its net assets in the future,” it said in a filing, adding that it would convene an EGM to seek shareholder approval for the move.

EAH said the vendors (Chong Mui Fun, Shankar Muniandy, Yong Chee Hon, Dr Yeoh Seong Mok, Yong Zhen Wei and Yeoh William) had also agreed to a profit guarantee period of not less than RM56mil aggregate profit after tax (PAT) for Cekap Group for the two financial years ending Dec 31, 2015 and 2016.

Cekap Group recorded PAT of RM10.39mil based on its latest audited consolidated financial statements for the 2014 financial year.

EAH said the vendors would also deposit shares equivalent to RM11.2mil, representing 20% of the total profit guarantee based on the issue price of 10 sen per EAH share, into several pledged Central Depository System accounts.

As at the latest practicable date, it said Cekap’s order book stood at RM53.89mil which would provide earnings visibility up to July 2017, while Cekap group has also participated in project tenders with a total estimated value of RM99.03mil.

EAH said Cekap was well-positioned in the water industry for its M&E engineering services and had also broadened its market reach by creating synergies with award-winning WY Consultancy, which it acquired in 2014.

“The management of Cekap Group believes that it has the necessary resources to carry out its order book and is well positioned to secure more projects moving forward,” it said based on the group’s prospects and positive outlook of the construction industry.

EAH said the proposed acquisition would be fully satisfied by the issuance of 470.4 million EAH shares at an issue price of 10 sen per share, which will be implemented after the entitlement date of its proposed bonus issue.

The proposed bonus issue involves up to 267.36 million new ordinary EAH shares of 10 sen each, to be credited as fully-paid up on the basis of one bonus share for every five existing shares on an entitlement date to be determined later.

Edge Weekly
Warrants Update: Kawan-WA may benefit from weaker ringgit

By Ben Shane Lim / The Edge Malaysia | March 5, 2015 : 2:00 PM MYT

KAWAN Food Bhd, which counts frozen paratha and chapatti among its bestsellers and exports about 70% of its products to the US, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, could be among the few local exporters to benefit from a weaker ringgit.

In fact, the group saw its net profit improve 34.9% to RM5.77 million — partly lifted by exchange rate gains — in its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2014. Since last September, the ringgit has weakened even further and is currently expected to continue trading in the range of 3.5 to 3.7 against the US dollar this year.

If the stellar showing is repeated when Kawan Food’s full-year earnings are reported by the end of this month, its shares and warrants could receive a boost.
Closing at 52 sen last Tuesday, Kawan-WA was trading at a 5.84% discount to the mother share, which closed at RM1.54 apiece.

Note that the exercise price of the warrants has been reduced to 93 sen from RM1.40 subsequent to a one-for-two bonus issue that saw the issuance of 90 million bonus shares and 29.23 million new warrants.

The frozen food product manufacturer is currently consolidating its operation from Shah Alam to a new factory in Pulau Indah while at the same time expanding capacity. The new facility will allow Kawan Food to upgrade its refrigeration system and its warehousing. The move is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year.

This positions the warrants, which expire in July next year, relatively well to benefit from improved earnings from the move. In the near term, a catalyst for the group’s earnings would be the ringgit’s depreciation against the greenback.

Annualising its recent nine-month earnings per share of 12.63 sen, the shares are trading at about 9.14 times earnings based on their RM1.60 close last Monday.

This isn’t very cheap or very expensive either, considering the group is sitting on a sizeable cash pile of RM34.38 million, which works out to 18.8 sen net cash per share.

It is worth noting that the group has announced plans to use the cash — of about RM100 million — over the next four years for expansion purposes. As the group puts its cash to use, it would be interesting to see if it can unlock more of its growth potential.

Kawan Food’s relatively small market capitalisation of RM292.3 million may make it too small for some institutional investors. However, Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera has a 4.99% stake in it. Its major shareholders are Datuk Thiam Chai Gan with a 32.8% stake and Nareshchandra Gordhandas Nagrechawho with 23.65%.
