Pursuant to Section 129 of the Companies Act, 1965, Gen (R) Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Hamid who is over the age of 70 years, was re-appointed as Director of KAG by the shareholders at KAG’s 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 03 June 2016, to hold office until the conclusion of KAG’s 14th AGM to be held on 25 August 2017.

With the implementation of the Companies Act 2016 on 31 January 2017, there is no longer an age limit for Directors.

KAG hereby wishes to announce that the Board of Directors had resolved vide a circular resolution dated 18 August 2017, pursuant to Article 125 of Articles of Association, Gen (R) Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Hamid to continue in office as Director of KAG without any lapse of time when his term of office ends at the conclusion of the 14th AGM.
