Property sector is the biggest winner from this budget where developers set to clear most of the overhang inventories. Banks will b more willing to lend as cagamas guarantees first 20% of capital and higher DSR of up to 70% will increase overall liquidity into the property sector.

I foresee property prices to trend up over the next 1-2 years as old stocks being cleared and lesser supply available in the market.

Do u know that cagamas will guarantee 20% of bank loans? Banks’ risk exposure will be reduced and hence will be more willing to extent financing to borrowers. More liquidity means better property sales and developers set to benefit greatly from this. Also, higher DSR of 70% for loan application means easier to get home loans as well.!

KNM is the biggest GEM in the market now. No doubt the company is still not making money now but much of the loses are due to accounting practice of deducting the asset depreciation from the profit. I believe buy at current level and hold for 3 years will surely give 500% return to its loyal shareholder.... targeting 0.50 by end of 2019....
